Calcium carbonate is one of the most commonly used inorganic fillers. It is widely applied in rubber, paper, plastics, coatings, textiles, sealants, adhesives, printing inks, daily supplies, cosmetics, animal feed and many other products.
In rubber: It can expand the volume of rubber products, save rubber materials and reduce costs, while playing a reinforcing and semi-reinforcing role.
In plastics: It improves the dimensional stability, hardness and rigidity of plastic products, enhances their processing performance and light scattering properties, and cuts the production cost of plastic goods.
In chemical building materials: It is made into new composite calcium-plastic materials, which feature heat resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, cold resistance, sound insulation, shock resistance and easy processing. As a building material, it is used in packaging, furniture, building components, doors and windows, ceilings, wall panels, decorative trims, water pipes, electrical conduits and other products.
In papermaking: It ensures certain strength and whiteness of paper and lowers production costs. It is added to cigarette paper, dictionary paper, carbon paper, magazine paper, newsprint, offset coated paper and other paper products.
In coatings: It strengthens the deposition and penetration of primers on base surfaces. Used in primers and putties, it fills micropores and fine cracks on steel, wood and other substrates. It is also used in interior and exterior architectural coatings, with properties like matte effect, high gloss, non-sedimentation and easy dispersion.
In animal feed, inks and other products: It acts as a volume-adding filler to reduce costs in printing inks, putties, sealing waxes and adhesives. In animal feed, it serves as the main calcium source for livestock and poultry, supplementing calcium to support their healthy growth.
